This evening was way more fun than I expected.  Good phone call.  Good convo with Carol.  Good couple of students--two guys I've worked with before, so it was easy to get them to pay attention and talk and such.  Good walk back with Carol.  Wrote good analyses of the short stories we're workshopping tomorrow.

Oh, at long last I am home again. It feels wonderful, and I haven't slept better in ages. I haven't felt so comfortable in ages. I haven't been so relieved in ages. Yeah, isn't it strange that doing my chores helps me to feel better? They certainly never had that effect at home. I guess I like doing my chores here at Centre because it reminds me that I am capable of at least cleaning up after myself. That's a pretty good feeling, actually.
